Difference between BOHAI Multi-shaped long span roof machine & UBM (k span machine, super k span machine) made by MIC.

1. Appearance

BOHAI multi-shape arch plate forming machine is vertical machine with triple axles. It can lower the cost of project by labour-saving. Mechanical control or hydraulic control is optional. All the ultimate building machine made by MIC have triple axles, length is 10400mm, fully controlled by hydraulic.

2. Structure

Parameter of BOHAI multi-shape arch curving span construction machine as follow:

Material of shaft: 45# high-quality steel, galvanized. Material of roller: 45# high-quality steel, quenched, hard chrome plating. Material of cutter: 12CrMoV, heat treatment. Machine adopts automotive rear bridge as the axle, equipped with tires of 900-20 size, can load more and has better impact resistance and damping effect.

UBM K span machine made by MIC has all steel and burnished alumium construction, precision steel forming rollers with hard chrome plating.

Multi-shape arched metal sheet roll forming machine is inspired by the structural modeling of natural plant skin textures, and adopted various scientific methods to study extremely thin materials to achieve stiffening effects through corrugations. It produces the large span steel sheet as roof.


The long-span beamless arched roof is classified according to the material of the building structure:

1. Brick-wood structure: The load-bearing components of the building are mainly made by brick and wood. In the building, walls and columns are made by bricks. Horizontal load-bearing parts’ floor slabs and roof trusses are made by wood. This type of building generally has fewer floors, and they are used more in single-stare houses.


2. Brick-concrete structure: The walls and columns of the building are built with bricks, and the beams, floors, stairs, and roofs are made of concrete steel bars, and the building is a reinforced concrete masonry structure. Most of these types of buildings are used in small-scale civil construction industrial plants with a low number of floors (below six floors), and they are currently widely adopted building structures.


3. Reinforced concrete structure: all the beams, columns, floors, and foundations of the building are constructed with reinforced concrete. The beams, floors, columns, and foundation make a load-bearing frame structure, which is called a frame structure in engineering construction. The wall only serves as an enclosure and is built by bricks. Frame structures are mostly used in high-rise and large-span building construction.


4. Steel structure: The beams, columns, and roof trusses of the building are made by steel, and the walls are made by masonry materials or other building materials. Such structures are mostly used in large industrial buildings.
